Professional Report: A survey conducted in March of 2025 for 5 days noted approximately 168 species of bird, two of which are considered threatened (Varzea Piculet ( Picumnus varzeae ) and Ash-breasted Antbird ( Myrmoborus lugubris )). While this record only encompasses a 5 day trip, other records for this area have noted over 200 species of bird, including endangered species such as Scaled Spinetail ( Cranioleuca muelleri ).
